John Armeni, Chair, Armeni Consulting services llC held a meeting of the Construction Practices Committee on November 5 in Las egas to review the current draft of the Second edition of the Construction Practices Handbook. Following a final review of the Handbook by the Committee in March 2008, the second edition is expected to be published in May. The second eidtion will be significantly updated and an expanded version of the original Handbook. The 2008 Seminar on Construction Practices for Segmental and Cable-Stayed Bridges will be held July 28-29 at the Hilton Sacramento Arden West hotel, Sacramento, California. The program and registration information will be distributed to the ASBI mailing and posted to the ASBI website www.asbi-assoc.org in April.
